The only rock music station in Bulgaria – Z-Rock – was established in October, 2006 after a serious research on behalf of the American consultancy company “Pinnacle Media”. Its appearance took a free market niche and attracted the audience of several radio stations.
Thanks to Z-Rock, rock music is now back on radio waves, which was strongly appreciated by the cohorts of rock fanatics in Bulgaria. The grand day was October 13th (Friday), 2006. Since then, Z-Rock has been playing on its countrywide frequencies rock pieces that have been adored by several generations, and have brought to their performers the glory of living legends. The future plans of the new Z-Rock radio are to organise concerts with these majesties.
