Channel 1

The Bulgarian National Television was the first television launched in Bulgaria. It is a public broadcaster producing and broadcasting political, economic, cultural, scientific, educational, and information programs, providing its audiences with direct access to national and world cultural heritage, and supporting the development of national culture.

Nova Television

Nova TV was established in 1994. Since 2000, it is owned by Antenna Bulgaria. Nova TV acquired its national air distribution license on July 18, 2003 and became the second private national medium in Bulgaria.
